Rachel LaForce is an Actress, Comedian, Writer & Voice Over talent. Hailing from Atlanta; LaForce cut her teeth in Chicago as a writer/performer; most notably with The Second City Touring Company before moving to Los Angeles.
Rachel can next be seen in the Whitney Cummings HBO pilot entitled A LOT. She is also featured in Whitney’s directorial feature-debut THE FEMALE BRAIN coming February 2018. Rachel is honored to be a part of Anna Field’s new documentary and book based on the influence of Gilda Radner, The Girl In The Show. Rachel can currently be seen in various episodes of TruTv’s new show Chris Webber’s Full Court Pranks! and as a hot rod driving mom in a Hot Wheels commercial titled "The Drive".
On stage in LA; Rachel hosts a monthly female comedy variety hour called FEISTY at iO West in Hollywood. She can also be seen performing sketch the first Sunday of every month with REDFORD, an iO West Mainstage sketch team. REDFORD has been featured on Funny or Die, College Humor2 & Splitsider.
Prior stage credits include; 30 Going On 13 (Second City Hollywood), working as a writer/performer with The Second City Touring Company, Improv All Stars (UP Comedy Club), Miracle On Wells Street (UP Comedy Club), Nutcracking Holiday Revue (The Second City), Girls Night Out (The Second City) and Fuck You, I Love You, Goodbye: The Rahm Emanuel Story (The Annoyance Theater). LaForce has written over 20 original sketch shows including performances at The San Francisco Sketch Festival and The North Carolina Arts Festival. She performed with VILLIAN an iO Chicago Harold Team for two years as well as all over Chicago with her independent sketch and improv team WILDCARD. Rachel’s solo sketch has been featured at The Comedy Central Stage (LA), Sonoma Laughfest, Chicago’s Sketchfest, Chicago Women’s Funny Festival & The Paper Machete (Chicago).
Rachel has contributed content to The Second City Network, her work has been published in The Chicago Red Eye & on The Huffington Post Comedy Blog. Her video sketch was recently featured on WhoHaha.com
