Consistency Is Where the Buried Treasure Is ( But No One Wants to Dig)

As a working Mom with ADHD, I don’t have time to “spare”, so I’ll just come out and say it: consistency is annoying. It’s the word that makes every creative roll their eyes and every people-pleaser suddenly reorganize their pantry instead of facing the truth: you can’t manifest your dream life without doing the same thing more than once. And like - apparently - it takes a lot of “onces”.
In this episode of Healing Is Hilarious, I dismantle the myth that consistency is discipline’s boring cousin. IMHO, consistency is due for a reframe. Consistency is devotion. It is the act of showing up for yourself and your vision before the results arrive. And yeah - sometimes loooong before. Talent isn’t enough. Knowing people isn’t enough. Having done it once isn’t enough. It’s consistency - that shift your life from where you are to where you want to be. Listen, IDK why the key to everything we want is seemingly easy - yet - wildly challenging to maintain. I don’t make the rules and the Divine certainly didn’t ask me to consult on Universal Law. Not yet, anyway.
In typical Rachel LaForce fashion, I want to leave you with practical tools, not cutesy self help quotes or lifeless spiritual hogwash. I don’t know everything - but I do know this - what you’re seeking is seeking you and you owe it to yourself and all those you will impact by showing up and doing the daily work that only you can do. Now go, get out there - but first keep reading:

Four spiritual-but-practical truths that hit harder than any motivational quote:
Consistency Is Where You Begin. Start where you are. Stop waiting for your “big break.” The small things are the path.
Consistency Builds Capability. Confidence is optional; capability is essential.
Consistency Expands Self-Value. You don’t just get better, you start believing you’re worth showing up for.
Consistency Is Where You Grow. Relationships, money, creativity, and confidence all expand when you do.
The magic of this episode is that it doesn’t glorify hustle. It glorifies presence. It’s about loving the life you already have while practicing toward the one you’re calling in. Rachel reminds us of her favorite quote from her friend and spiritual teacher, Remington Donovan: “Love the life you have, and you’ll have a life you love.”
Takeaway: The universe doesn’t reward perfection, it rewards devotion. Your dream life is practical. It’s built one consistent action at a time.
Journal Prompts:
Where in my life am I confusing talent with consistency?
What one small action could I show up for every day this week?
How would my life feel if I treated consistency as devotion instead of discipline?
What does being “devoted to my now” look like?
I trust this meets you where you’re at. I’m so excited for you!! I’ll see you out there.
As always, tune out, tune in. Love you, mean it. - Rachel
