Welcome to a brand new season of "Healing is Hilarious!"
I’m thrilled to be back behind the mic, bringing you real talk about spirituality, well-being, and what it means to live authentically. After a transformative seven-month break,, I’ve returned with new energy, deeper insights, and a renewed commitment to radical honesty and bold living.
These first two episodes really recap what all has been happening during this hiatus, what it means to show up with excellence, and how often we end up gatekeeping our own growth and greatness (sometimes without even realizing it).
This new season promises honest conversations, practical tools, and a lot of laughs all with the mission to support you in reclaiming your wholeness and living out loud.
SEASONS OF CHANGE: TAKING A BREAK MATTERS
Healing has become an “activity,” something on the to-do list. Somehow we’ve made it entirely separate from the actual living we’re supposed to enjoy.
I've always structured this podcast in seasons. After all, we need time to reflect, and my recent "three-month" sabbatical stretched into nearly seven. What happened during that break? Life. Business expanded, my kids grew, and I learned the importance of being truly present. Stepping back wasn’t just a necessity—it was a lesson in honoring my own journey, and I bet many of you have felt that same energy pushing you toward something bigger lately.
THE POWER (AND CHALLENGE) OF EXCELLENCE
For most of my life, I’ve been “good enough” at showing up. But internally, I always knew I was capable of excellence. Sound familiar? We all build our own gates—keep ourselves from what we really want, sometimes without even realizing it. Here’s the kicker: excellence isn’t about being perfect. It’s about committing, showing up fully, and letting that be your bare minimum.
Athletes don’t just practice for themselves—they show up for the team. Excellence starts with you, but it ripples out, impacting everyone and everything around you. So what’s been holding you back from stepping into your gifts? Is it old programming, self-doubt, or that nagging belief someone else deserves to go first? Let’s be honest—it’s time to leave those stories behind.
ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT IT…OR BEING ABOUT IT?
We love to talk about “our highest self” or “embracing the divine,” but there comes a point when talk has to become action. This season is about doing, not just discussing.
Excellence isn’t just an aspiration. It’s the new minimum standard.
That doesn’t mean you need to overextend yourself, or bulldoze over others to get ahead. It means you’ve done enough work. You know your gifts. Anything less than showing up fully is selling yourself short and is a disservice to everyone who needs what you have to offer.
JOURNAL PROMPTS:
What would showing up with excellence look like for you? Would you stop downplaying your talents? Start charging what you’re worth?
What holds you back from claiming excellence as your baseline? What stories about worthiness, capability, or belonging keep you playing small? Can you name them? Can you release them?
IT’S NOT ABOUT YOU (AND THAT’S A GOOD THING)
It’s wildly disrespectful to not use the gifts you’ve been given. Your power isn’t about inflating your ego. It’s about serving others, making a difference, and living fully expressed.
Stop waiting for the “thing....." that magical milestone that will finally “allow” you to show up fully. Show up now.
LET THIS BE YOUR SEASON
This next chapter of life is about excellence being the baseline, not the exception.
Lean into what makes you unique. Take your talents seriously. Not only are you ready, but the world needs you to show up, boldly and unapologetically.
