It’s Messy Because It’s Meant To Be

Not to brag, but despite my best efforts, I feel like I can now claim the title of ‘chaos concierge’ - trademark pending. Jk jk.
This week on Healing is Hilarious, I peeled back the curtain (and maybe a little of my dignity) to talk about something we all hate to admit: we want clarity and confidence, but we’re terrified of what it takes to get there. Spoiler alert: it’s messy.
Here’s the truth:
You can read all the books.
Make the vision boards.
Recite the affirmations in your best NPR voice.
But eventually, you’re going to have to do the human thing. Take action. Risk being seen. Possibly bomb. Liiiike - most definitely bomb.

We’re all in a collective reinvention - politically, culturally, spiritually. The old rules aren’t just outdated, they’re offensive. And personally? Most of us are lugging around belief systems like emotional baggage we keep paying extra to check.
This episode is my love letter (I’ve been writing a lot of those lately. lols) to those of us learning to live without needing to be perfect. Who are tired of controlling everything just to feel “safe.” Who secretly suspects we were never meant to have it all together because together is a lie they sold us to keep us small.
Healing isn’t about perfection - it’s about presence. Power comes from trust. And if you can get good at being messy… you can finally live free. NOW WHO’S WITH ME?! Ha! I always feel like Vince Lombardi at the end of these. Just a little masculine talking to get you to chill the f out. Okay, take the action this week. I’m so excited for you.
Love you, mean it.
ACTION STEPS:
Take 2–3 minutes daily: breathe, check in with your body, remind yourself “I am safe.”
Get honest: What part of your life feels small — and are you ready to outgrow it?
Let yourself be messy on purpose this week. A little rebellion never hurt anyone.
