Rachel LaForce is a multi-hyphenate Creator based in Los Angeles and Atlanta. She is an Actor, Comedian, Speaker, Writer + Producer.

And is still in search of a longer title. #blest.

Currently, LaForce is the Co-Creator of a female driven unscripted show in development with Mermade Productions. She is also the Showrunner and Co-Executive producer of Highly Unlikely a new podcast/digital series produced by Skewed Orbit Productions (a company she co-owns with her husband and fellow creator, Alex Gettlin) and in partnership with WikiLeaf.

Rachel also hosts and produces Common Ground with her husband. They're married, they're comedians and they couldn't be more different. He’s a Jewish, masculine, Libertarian and she’s an intuitive, brassy, Humanitarian. Living in the digital age hell-bent on casting us as Red Team or Blue Team, Alex and Rachel sit down every Monday morning to talk current events through their personal lease of comedy in hopes of finding; common ground. For more, follow @commongroundmorningshow on Instagram.

Rachel has been featured in two projects by Whitney Cummings; her HBO pilot A Lot and Whitney's directorial feature-debut The Female Brain on Hulu. Additional credits include; TruTv, The Onion and more! Rachel is proud to be a contributor among other powerhouse comedians, Abbi Jacobson, Ilana Glazer, Aparna Nancherla, Laurie Kilmartin and more; in Writer/Director Anna Fields newest book & documentary of the same title;  Girl In The Show: Three Generations of Comedy, Culture and Feminism. Rachel most recently pitched a half hour dark comedy to Comedy Central.

LaForce cut her teeth in Chicago as an actor, writer and improviser with The Second City Touring Company. Hailing from Atlanta, Rachel is a Columbia College of Chicago alum and also performed at The Annoyance Theater, iO Chicago and iO West.

She has performed (and taught) sketch and improv comedy all over the world and at some of the best comedy festivals in the world. Rachel’s work has been featured in The Chicago Tribune, The Huffington Post Comedy Blog, WhoHaha.com and more. You can read about her journey from theater to screen in VoyageLA.

Rachel is the Co-Creator of Skewed Orbit. Skewed focuses on producing high quality, engaging, short form digital content that exposes the ridiculousness of the human experience. Pre-Covid they curated live comedy shows from Los Angeles to Atlanta showcasing the best up and coming comedians and some of your favorite faces from television. Subscribe to their YouTube and follow @skewedorbit on Facebook and Instagram.

LaForce has developed a Speaker Series titled LaForce Awakens. Listen, if you live in LA long enough to get sober, you too will have a #spiritualawakening. Rachel is committed to sharing practical tools for self empowerment through her personal lens of comedy. If we don’t begin to value ourselves, our language, each other - we’re going down faster than Lindsay Lohan in 2006. No shade Linds, you still my girl. We are now the product in our Attention Economy and can add TikTok and Instagram to the list of uppers and downers. It’s not too late to educate ourselves on the impact of emotional intelligence and it’s currency. You dig? In addition, Rachel hosts seasonal empowerment events for womxn centered around connection and activation aptly titled, Girl, Revolt! For events and more, follow her on Instagram @rachellaforce.

If Rachel's not on her couch binging a very dark but award winning documentary; she’s most likely creating comedy around the greater Los Angeles area and yes, she got her aura photographed and loves telling people about it.
